Korean-style make-up in Budapest
Glass skin, a soft gradient lip, a straight and natural brow — the Korean beauty look is about skin that seems lit from within rather than covered. I create it in Budapest for brides, pre-wedding couples and anyone who loves that fresh, luminous finish.
What makes a look “Korean”
Korean make-up starts with the skin, not with colour. The goal is the effect known as glass skin: a smooth, dewy surface that reflects light like polished glass. I build it in thin layers — hydrating prep, a light and luminous base, concealer only where it is needed, and highlight on the high points of the face instead of shimmer all over. Coverage stays light enough that skin still looks like skin, even in close-up photos.
The brow is the second signature: straight or only softly arched, filled in hair by hair in a warm, soft brown and brushed up — no hard edges, no sharp tail. It makes the face look fresh and calm, and it is the opposite of the high, sculpted arch of many Western glam looks.
The eyes stay soft: a gradient of peach, champagne, soft pink or warm bronze on the lid, definition close to the lash line, and individual or wispy lashes instead of heavy strips. The lip is the gradient lip — colour concentrated in the centre and blurred outwards, glossy and juicy rather than sharply lined. Blush is a soft peach, placed high on the cheek.
Made for your eye shape — and for a long day
Many of my clients have monolid or hooded eyes. A classic sharp cat-eye wing tends to disappear there, and heavy smoky shadow all around closes the eye optically. So I shape the definition to the eye you actually have: a slightly stronger lash line, gradient colour that opens the lid, lashes that lift rather than weigh down.
For a wedding the look has to hold for hours — through the ceremony, the photos, the dinner and the dancing. That is why we test it at the trial in daylight and with flash, check how the glow reads on camera, and adjust everything before the day. Hair is part of the bridal booking: soft waves, a low updo or a half-up style with a pin, done by the same person.
Who I work with
Korean brides marrying in Budapest, couples who travel here for their pre-wedding portraits at the Fisherman's Bastion or along the Danube, and women from the Korean and wider Asian community in Budapest who want the look for an event, a shoot or a special evening — and anyone who simply loves K-beauty.
To be clear: I am not Korean myself, and I do not speak Korean. I am a Budapest-based make-up and hair artist whose work centres on Asian, Slavic, Latin and Middle Eastern features, and the Korean beauty aesthetic is one of the looks I know best. We can talk in English, Russian, Ukrainian or German.
Prices and booking
A full bridal booking — trial plus wedding day, hair included — is 40,000 HUF. A pre-wedding session or a separate trial is 25,000 HUF; a single soft glam look is 24,000 HUF. Within Budapest I come to your hotel, apartment or venue at no extra charge.
The easiest start is a free 30-minute consultation by video or phone. Book it in the calendar below or send me a message on WhatsApp — I reply within 24 hours.

Questions about Korean-style make-up
Are you a Korean make-up artist?
No — I am a Budapest-based make-up and hair artist, not Korean myself. Korean-style make-up (glass skin, a straight brow, a gradient lip) is one of my specialities, and much of my work is with Asian features and skin tones.
Do you speak Korean?
No. The consultation and the session itself can be in English, Russian, Ukrainian or German. Reference photos help a lot — send me the looks you love and we go through them together.
What is glass skin make-up?
A smooth, dewy, luminous finish that looks like healthy skin reflecting light. It comes from good skin prep and thin layers of a light base, with highlight on the high points of the face — not from glitter or heavy shimmer.
Can you work with monolid or hooded eyes?
Yes. I adapt the definition to your eye shape: gradient colour that opens the lid, a slightly stronger lash line and lashes that lift — instead of a sharp wing that disappears or heavy smoky shadow that closes the eye.
How much does Korean-style bridal make-up cost in Budapest?
The same as any bridal booking: 40,000 HUF for the trial plus the wedding day, hair included. A pre-wedding session or a separate trial is 25,000 HUF, a single soft glam look 24,000 HUF. Travel outside Budapest is quoted separately.
Do you do make-up for pre-wedding photoshoots in Budapest?
Yes. Many couples travel to Budapest for their pre-wedding portraits. I coordinate the timing with your photographer and the light, and the look is built to read well on camera.
