An English-speaking make-up artist in Budapest
Planning a wedding, a shoot or an evening in Budapest from abroad — or living here without Hungarian? I work in English from the first message to the last touch-up, so nothing gets lost in translation on the day that matters.
Why language matters on the day
Make-up is a conversation. You describe the feeling you want, I translate it into skin, eyes and lips — and on a wedding morning there is no time for misunderstandings. With me you talk directly to the person doing your make-up and hair, in English, without an interpreter or a planner passing messages back and forth.
I also speak Russian, Ukrainian and German. That helps when families travel in from different countries: the bride, her mother and the bridesmaids can each say what they want and be understood.
How it works when you are not in Budapest yet
Most international clients plan from a distance. We start with a free 30-minute consultation by video or phone: you show me your dress, your inspiration photos and the timeline of the day, and I tell you what I would recommend for your skin, your features and the light at your venue.
The trial is part of every bridal booking. We test the look in daylight and with flash, see how it holds, and adjust anything before the day. If you are only in Budapest for a short stay, we plan the trial around your travel dates.
On the day I come to you — hotel suite, apartment or venue anywhere in Budapest — with my full kit and lighting, at no extra charge within the city. Hair and make-up are done by one person, so there is one schedule, one point of contact and one look that fits together.
Every skin tone, every tradition
Weddings in Budapest are international, and so is my work. It centres on Asian, Slavic, Latin and Middle Eastern features — eye shapes, undertones, hair textures and the bridal conventions of each culture. Whether you want a soft, glowing natural look, soft glam or something more editorial, the look is built for your face, not copied from a template.
Budapest itself is a beautiful backdrop for pre-wedding portraits: the Fisherman's Bastion, the Danube embankment, the classicist facades downtown. I coordinate the make-up with your photographer's schedule and the light.

Questions from international clients
Can we do everything in English?
Yes. The enquiry, the consultation, the trial and the wedding day itself can all be in English. I also speak Russian, Ukrainian and German.
Can we plan everything remotely before we arrive?
Yes. The free 30-minute consultation is by video or phone, details are arranged by email or WhatsApp, and the trial is planned around your travel dates in Budapest.
Do you come to our hotel or venue?
Yes. I come to your hotel suite, apartment or venue anywhere in Budapest with my full kit and lighting. Within Budapest there is no extra charge; outside the city a travel surcharge applies.
Is hair styling included?
Yes, in the bridal booking. I work as a make-up and hair artist, so one person creates the full look and there are no two schedules to coordinate on the morning of the wedding.
How far in advance should we book?
For a wedding, six to twelve months ahead is normal, especially for dates from May to September. Shoots and private occasions are often possible at shorter notice — it is always worth asking.
Do you travel outside Budapest?
Yes, worldwide on request. Budapest is my home studio; travel and accommodation are quoted with the booking.
